Unison Colour Pastels are available in many art shops throughout the U.K.

One of these is the Heaton Cooper Studio,  located in the village of Grasmere, in our sister county of Cumbria, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Lake District.

As well as a fabulous selection of our pastels, Heaton Cooper also stock pastel papers and grounds in pads and sheets, including a selection of Ingres, Tiziano and abrasive papers including glassine, in a range of colours and sizes. Pastel primers are also available for making your own pastel surfaces.

For those who work in mixed or other media, they sell a complete range of the highest quality art materials, everything from inks to easels. The stafff are able to give excellent advice and can also be contacted by phone, or email.  The shop and gallery also sell books, paintings, prints, sculpture, and gifts.  The gallery and art shop is a family business first established by artist Alfred Heaton Cooper in 1905. His artist son William Heaton Cooper built the present gallery in Grasmere in 1938. It is still run by family members today.

The area in itself is well worth a visit, with many wonderful views to set up and draw. Also places of interest such as Dove Cottage, and the Wordworth Museum nearby. The shop and gallery and open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
